Was on the bus thinking how sucky it is that school is reopening tom. After the long break and the Korea trip, really dread to go back school. Especially since my first lesson of the sem is CS1101C. OMG!

Was thinking of the past 3 years in NUS. What are the achievements ive made that im proud of. Not much with regards to studies, since i didnt made much acheivements there. Hahaha...but 2 acheivements stand out. One is winning the Science Open with my beloved KACC. Its the first medal i won in NUS. I think its the only medal ive won. Fighting together in the court. Good team spirit. We were definitely not the most skillful team, bt we were united. Under our Great Captain Kendrick (im not sucking up). I still remember being tired when i reached home that day. But i was too excited to sleep. I put the medal beside me when trying to sleep.

2nd achievement is my korean video. Making the korean video was fun but it isnt always a bed of roses. Its tiring having to do 6 module, teach 4 tuition and filmed at awkward timing at awkward places. And its my first foray into acting....so it wasnt easy. But my passion for korean, together with great team mates, and a pretty sonsaengnim, it was a success. I think it was...haha...yeah my acting nt dat good. Dear Leader says that when im acting emo in the car, i looked like im thinking what i wanna eat for dinner.

Feeling the withdrawal symptom of finishing my korean drama. Just finish Cinderella Man. Nice. Yoona is so pretty. And the story is nice.....plus the OST. And some of the filming area....ive been there.....Namsan Tower, Dongdaemun....i wanna go Korea again.....!!!

Korea Sparkling

Im back from Korea trip. Too lazy to blog about it. It was pretty fun. I was damn sick for the first 2-3 days. Didnt have fever bt cough like mad and nose running like a tap. Morale down. Wonder what the hell im doing in Korea.Really feel like going back. Makes me realise how health is important. You can have all the money in the world, but without good health, its useless. Luckily, after much rest and medicine, i got better. And really got used to the korean lifestyle. Its quite easy to use the subway, and we could travel alone without much difficulty. Hmm...yeah..maybe some. But we could ask for direction in korean if we do get lost. Most of the koreans feel weird when i start to talk to them, but when i start to ask for direction in korean, they were more than willing to help. Some were super helpful and go all their way to help us. I usually ask chiobus for direction...haha.

Its fun travelling and taking subways together as a group. But sometimes i cherish the times i took subway alone and trying to find my way. At first, i feel i do get stares as im ...well different. But after a while i feel blend in. Hahaha.

Visit quite a number of places, sang noraebang and did many things. Ate a lot of korean food too. But i did got sick of the food. I prefer local food. Miss asam pedas, laksa, curry puff and PRATA!
Weather in Korea is nice. Despite hot afternoons, it is nt as humid as Singapore, and thus u dun perspire. The nights are damn cooling.

Time really past very fast. Soon, it was time to go back. As much i was happy to go back, there was this tinge of sadness when i was at the airport. I miss Seoul. And the company. I would definitely come back again.

I guess thats just me. I take time to get used to something, but once i get used to it, ill feel strongly attached to it. Like how i hate first day of school, but i do hate last day of school as well.

And so ill be goin Korea in about a week's time. I dunno why but the excitement seems to die off....though im sure it will be fun.

I went to a Korean supermarket last week at Tampines One. And i chatted with the korean auntie in korean. Hahahha. Told her i studied korean in school and im goin korea this month. I think she was very happy that i can speak a bit of korean. She didnt gave me any discount for the drink i bought though.

Watch a korean movie yesterday. Think im starting to like korean movie rather than drama. The movie tends to be deep and dark...my type. The drama is more lovey dovey which i like also. But just couldnt bother to start. Aniwae, the movie i watch is Addicted. Its an old film featuring my favourite korean actor, Lee Byung Hun. Its about two brothers who were both involved in different accident at the same time. The elder brother went into a long coma. The younger brother managed to survive. The elder brother has a wife. The wife help to look after the younger brother who survived but seems unstable after the accident. As time pass the younger brother seems to behave like the elder brother. He even acknowledge himself as the elder brother. According to doctors, there is a possibility of the elder brother soul entering the younger brother body. Like being possesed. At first the elder brother wife refuse to believe, but as time pass, she starts to believe that his husband soul is indeed inside the younger brother body. And they start to love each other. Untill one day, when she made a chilling revelation, that the younger brother had actually like her all along! He took this opportunity to act as the elder brother. In the meantime the doctors have encouraged her to pull off her busband life support as his body is rotting. Hmm....the story is pretty intriguing. A bit sick. How the younger brother can act as the elder brother so as to be with the woman he love.

Feel so tired now. 4 hours of intense soccer is crazy. But fun. Cheap fun. Nothing beats soccer on a saturday. So waiting for the 1i-1b rivalry. So funny talkin to kendrick juz now. I was telling him that im strongly considerin signing with MOE too. We were talkin about working hours and i was telling him if i become a teacher, 5 pm ill go basketball court to play soccer. His reply..'See u there'.....hahah

1st week of Holiday

One week plus of holz have passed. I dont feel as lonely and weird as i always feel after holidays. Maybe its coz of the numerous tuition session that i have straight after exams. And apparently its not only me who feels empty and lonely after exams.
Been teaching so much tuition whole of last week that ive a bad sore throat. But that means money as well. However only left 2-3 more tuition session before the tutees take mid year break.

Besides teaching tuition, ive been engaging in cheap entertainment. Will rent vcd at the vcd shop near my house and watch at night together with some snacks. The vcd gal quite cute. heheh. Watch 2 movie. The first one is JSA (Joint Security Area) which is about the North-South Korean border. Its about a particular shooring incident that happened i cant remember when. The story pretty sad seeing how the Koreans are seperated. But i cant believe ill be going there soon. Not sure if going DMZ, but i really hope we'll be going there. Its like the thing i most likely look forward to when i go Korea. Of course, the korean chicks as well.

Have special sem nxt week. So not lookin forward to it. 9-6. So sick. Lucky its only for 2 weeks. And nxt week is Champs League final. Man U Barca. I still remember 98-99when they were in the same group. Both match 3-3. Crazy. Rivaldo is power.

I still have 3 more papers nxt week. Really saturated. Cant wait for exam to end and holz. JB nxt fri. And Seoul otw.....wohoo. Though im a bt worry of swine flu.
Have been studying very little this week. Monday i was sick. Tues felt better but really no mood. Industrial Heat Transfer is difficult and boring. The only interesting thing is when i flip my notes and see silly scribblings by MM. Hahaha. Made me smile and lol.

But i guess its so much better when you study with friends. I mean friends, not 'friends'!. Theres Paul, John, Huimin, Xinyi, Hafiz and the rest. Makes mugging that little less miserable.

Took a break yesterday and watch Wolverine with the KACC gang. I tink the supper and tok cock session after the movie is as exciting if not more exciting than the movie itself. Hahaha. I should be hitting the gym after typing this post. Muz be like Huge Jackman....hahah...Hugh i mean.

Some people say i look like a particular soccer player. I see it as a compliment as that soccer player is handsome...though i dont think i look like him. Haahaha. As sumone say, i shouldnt get my head up in the air oredi...lol

KL trip plus miracle

Just return from KL today at about 6 plus. Quite a tiring trip but learnt quite a lot. It started out so eventfully when i lost my wallet at bus 950 even before my passport is chopped. WTF lah...haha. Instead of going to Larkin straight from jb customs, we went to Kota Raya terminal to see if my wallet is in the bus as bus 950 ends there. But i wasnt expecting much. Theres 170 ringgit plus 10 sing dollar. True enough the bus captain couldnt find anything. He was quite helpful though as he tried his best to comms other bus cptns at woodland.

Luckily i kept some money in my bag. Had to borrow from Hafiz oso. I felt bad coz throughout the trip he had to watch his spending as well as he lend me some money first. Hafiz is really one nice guy. But i was pretty calm after knowing dat i lost my wallet. Maybe im used to it?? haha..i lost my wallet almost exactly a year ago. My fren was asking me if its a yearly affair? Lol. I kept on telling myself....bad luck here means good luck elsewhere. My mum alwaes say when sumthin bad happen, take it that god is protecting you from something worst, as He knows best. Hmm... but when i call home to say i lost my wallet...she was nagging like nobody business...haha....had to put the phone down.

So KL was mainly eating and shopping....for me window shopping. First night we ate dinner at food republic. I ate korean food. halal korean food. Nice. Beef bulgogi. and kimchi......kimchi rocks.....better than wasabe which hurts my nostrils. Watch Ip Man after that. My 2nd time watching it. Ip Man is really nice. Im not into action pack show...bt wing chun fighting just takes your breath away. And the story is touching too. I like the scene when he was fighting the jap commander and they show flashback of him training wingchun on that wooden thingy. He was just applying what he practise all this while. And his wife is pretty too...haha. I give 2 thumbs up for Ip Man. Its definitely better than Australia. But Australia is juz special :)

2nd day the buffet breakfast at the hotel was superb. We really ate a lot. After that we just went shopping and ate AnW for lunch. We shared our food as we were still full from heavy breakfast. Watch transporter 3. Its definitely not my cuppa tea, though that guy body is nice. Hmm...sumone recently mention that i look more buff now...haha.
I ate korean food again for dinner. Kimchi soup with rice. Was having a bad flu. Had it since saturday when i was in singapore. Hot food does helps. Plus warm honey lemon. At night we went petaling street. Got myself a wallet as i lost it. Checked our mail when we went back our hotel. Connection was bad. But good news. Got the mods i bidded for AND.......nus send a forwarded mail from SMRT. They found my wallet. Wow...wad a miracle.

The next morning i call the smrt lady to arrange that i pick my wallet up at woodland. The rest of my friend were taking a flight fronm KL to LAngkawi. But i didnt follow them and went back to singapore alone. This had nothing to do with me losing my wallet as it was pre planned. I just went langkawi last summer break and didnt really feel like going though the last trip was enjoyable.

I was pretty excited goin back alone. Hahah. But the stoopid bus was about an hour late....and i must admit i was a bit worried. Luckily Ridzuan pass me some extra singapore cash just in case anything crops up. But the trip back was smooth. And the Transtar bus was very comfy. Plus every seat has a tv. I manage to catch 2 and a half korean movie on the journey. The first one was Brother i think. Its quite a famous movie. But i watch more k drama rather than movies. But the movie was nice. About civil war between north and south. Tearjerker like most korean show. Haha. Ive got a phobia for war. War is really scary. Once i had a nightmare about war...scary.
2nd movie was also nice. Again regarding North and South. I really wonder how tense the DMZ is....i wanna visit the 38th parallel. The last movie was some korean nonsense show....quite lame. But the best korean movie ive watched have to be Secret Sunshine. Deep.....real deep. Very artsy. Like shyhjie says 'secret sunshine is one of a kind'. Really makes u think after that although some issues are contreversial.

The trip was quite enriching as well. 5 of us went. I know hafiz and ridzuan. Huzaifa is ridzuan fren. And the other person that went is a Ghanaian. Learnt quite a lot from them. And he is normal.....he does get hungry and tired..etc. Coz if you see essien and appiah play....ull think ghana ppl are superhuman.

Gotta settle bidding stuff,etc before skool starts. Sian. So NOT looking forward to design project. Super Sian....!!!!. Im praying ill get korean 1. That will be damn fun. And paul is back nxt sem......lol. That will be fun too.....

I lost my hp yesterday....again!!! Ive been losing my things like nobody business. But luckily this time around, i manage to get it back.

I was at school doing proj during holz.Wtf rite??? Met up with ho teck before we decided to eat dinner. Couldnt decide where to eat and ht eventually drove back to his house. We stop at the carpark for a while before deciding to go jeremy house to send sumthing and den proceed to heartland mall for dinner. When we were at hearland, i saw Mr Inverter. Wanted to whip out my phone to sms Paul about it. That was when i realised my hp is gone!!! Super fucking frustrated. Losing a phone is damn frustrating. Its not juz the hp (i juz bought it a few months ago), but also the contacts and contents inside.
We tried to trace it at heartland but to no avail. Ho teck even volunteered to drive back to jeremy house and his house carpark to try to search for it, but i suggested eating dinner first as im famished albeit having no mood to eat. We went to Qiji. I just ordered the popiah. All these while, ht tried to call my hp but no one picked up. At Qiji, i tried calling my hp using ht phone again. I was so happy when a lady picked up. She say she saw my hp at Serangoon North. Hmm...i must have dropped it at HT house carpark. Suddenly i have the mood to eat again. Haha. We finished our food before going back to ht house.Before that, I bought chocolates to give it to the person hu saw my hp. Really thankful. Nice ppl still exists. No price for guessing the chocolate, Merci.

Went to ho teck house after getting my phone back. Felt a bit alien, as i haben been to ht house for quite a while. After a warm welcome by his mum, and ransacking his room for snacks, i felt at HOME once again. Hahahah

Went to watch Liverpool vs Chelski at sergi house last sunday. After the match i think im starting to like Liverpool. This is crazy. This comin from a Man u fan is unbecoming. But its true. And in the quaterfinal we lost to an AngMoh team. They went on to win the tournament. So, no shame to us. In fact we didnt play badly at all. This week is the recess week but ive been so busy. Been very tired. It seems like im very busy but at the end of the day ive nt accomplish much. Dont know why also.
Have planned to do revision during the recess week to catch up with school werk which im like so lagging in.But projects meeting have taken up most of my time. Also, the inertia to do work is like freaking high.

My recess week starts from last week as ive no school on friday. Dindt really do much during weekend except completing my lab. Went supper with huiyin. Havent met her in a while. Quite nice reminiscing about the past.

Went to airport to study with jody. Think it was quite productive. Studied more than i did for the past 3 weeks....haha..dat shows how much ive been slacking. did stupid things to like wearing dat headband.........lol...
But when i was at the airport, i realise how hard it is to find a prayer place. There are prayer rooms inside the transit area but there are none in the public area. Neither are there prayer rooms in shopping centres or places of interest. I just find it isnt that hard to allocate a small area or room for a praying area.
Hmmm..............
But azhar has taught me how to use a compass to determine the direction of praying. This makes it easy as i can pray at any staircase landing.

Tues i had to go back skool for a proj meeting. Saw alpha at biz. I think she send her regards to paul. Had to rush back frm skool to bedok cc to do some stoopid solidworks which i dont noe how to do. Couldnt finish it. Partly because nt enough time but mainly because im a solidworks illeterate.

Went to find azhar again on wed to finish up on the solidworks. But alas i realize, even if i were to spend ten hours on it, i cant do it. What a pain in the ass....waste my freaki8ng time sia. So, i went to walk around the cc. Watch a group of oldies playing pickle ball. For those who doesnt know pickle ball is a game something like tennis which is played on a badminton court. But of course the racket is dif. I dont even noe if its call a racket. They were having lots of fun. Then there was this old man boasting the the aunties. He keep asking the aunties to play with him but they gave up as they are tired. They keep kaopehing the old man....calling him 'how lian'. Then they call me. Asked me to teach the old man a lesson. Hahaha...quite farnie. Im really auntie killer. So, i played pickle ball for a while. It was pretty fun. But i wasnt as good as the oldies. They may not be able to move as much but their technique were far superior compared to mine. This must be due to them spending plenty of times honing their skills. Nevertherless, it was fun playing with them. I rarely have close contact with the elderlies partly because ive no grandparents. But they are like so carefree and enjoying themselves. Young at heart. Wish i can be like them next time.

Thursday was again spend on proj. But went to geylang serai at night. Quite fun. I havent been to geylang serai in ages. But have to soak in the hari raya mood. Bought myself a baju kurung.

My 6th sense have been freakingly accurate recently. In 3 cases. the first case i thought of something and that was the case. The 2nd one, i was on my way home from school. Took 10 from school to transfer to mrt at raffles place. I like to take that route when i have time to spare as i prefer taking bus. Also bus 10 is an emo bus for me. Btw, i had the feeling that i would meet sharon as she had an interview at 230 at raffles place oso. I took the bus at 2pm liddat. And i really saw her at raffles place. QUite freaky but nice to meet her aniwae..... Thirdly, i suddenly thot of my grandmother (not direct), a few days ago. And she just passed away yest.

If only my 6th sense is always accurate...then i pray that ill think of something.......hehehe.......then maybe its true.

Yay, nxt week is Hari Raya. But no matter what, theres always a tinge of sadness when fasting month is going to end. Thats how great the fastng month is.

So not looking forward to skool though. Im like sinking. Dunno whats goin on in skool. Lost in translation at projects. And dunno whether its worth doing some things. But some time even when u know u will fail in something, when you know you are not capable of something, when you know something are not bound to happened, you still cant stop doing it. Its like 1i, no matter how they noe they'll lose to 1b, they cant stop themselves from trying to beat us.

Hell Run

Yesterday i embark on a 'Hell Run'. Its not so much of the distance but rather the journey and conditions i have to endure. Decided to run as i havent run in a while and fasting month is coming which means i wont be able to run. Or maybe not.
Anywae, i planned to run to Pasir Ris and back but dunno why as i was running, i decided to turn into Old Tampines Road (OTR) to run to SRJC. It was about 10 pm. Btw, for those who doesnt know, OTR is this ulu road which is dimly litted. The beginning of the road housed a chinese temple and some cofeeshop. After that theres the back of Paya Lebar Airbase. As u move deeper inside, theres practically no sign of human being except ocassional bus, lorries and cars that zoomed past.

As i started running, it was ok at first. But soon it does get a bt creepy. My hair stands on its own. Soon it was like me on my own. I know that when i embark on this run, theres no backing out. So i just jog and jog at double quick time. Theres the occasional glance to the back to see vehicles at the back. But i was worried i might see sumthing else when i turn. There was this lorry that horned at me as i was running at the road shoulder. Think it nearly hit me. Some parts of OTR doesnt even have walkways.

Soon i maange to get out of OTR. What a relief. But the run is far from over. Infact,more creep awaits. I have to run past a long stretch of road. I decided to run on the right side as theres this foreign workers bunk. It was great to see fellow HUMAN BEINGS. lol. Most of them were outside their bunk on their hp. I guess they were calling back their home. Soon i was back to square one. With no one around. I mean totally no one. i just ran and ran though tiredness begins to sink in. Then i saw a dog. Im scared of dogs. And to make things worse, the dog howled when it saw me. And i mean HOWL not bark. You noe what theys ay when dogs howl. I quickly cross over to the other side of the road and quicken my pace. But feeling tired by now though the adrenaline rush keeps me going.

As i pass 1, 2 and more bus stops, i saw builldings. Yay, finally im going to finish. i finish my run near the mosque. Just 1 bus stop away from SRJC. Felt quite satisfying. Like finishing the Amazing Race. I wouldnt want run that route aalone at night again. Think can ask Harish next tme. Sergi dont run. He's happy enough.

Oh yah, i bought a brazilian praia from NUM. Quite ex. Hope its comfy.

One week of school have passed. So sian. Dunno how to survive this sem. The modules seems dif and im taking 6 core mods.

Looking at the bright side, Singapore has finally ended its 48 year drought to get an Olympic medal. Our table tennis girls have manage to get a silver medal. Unfortunately i cldnt watch the final live as my tuition kid doesnt want to change his tuition time. Ass. lol. Although Singapore lose, i felt that they have givent their best. The Chinese were just superior. Crazy. Really proud of Team Singapore. Not only table tennis but the rest as well. Like Tao Li who now holds an Asian record. Also, the rest of the swimmer who got their personal best.

Have been watching Olympics quite a lot. Even if i miss the exact match, would catch the daily roundup on ch 5 at 11pm. Mark Richmond and Jade Seah are freaking lame.

This Olympics definitely belong to Michael Phelps. 8 golds to surpass Spitz record of 7 in a single Olympic. I still remember how he celebrate when his teamate manage to catch up with France in that relay in which US almost lose. Although im not particularly fond of USA, i really wanted Phelps to get his 8 gold. As Mark Richmond put it, hes quite lovable and SEEMS not to have any arrogance. Unlike Usain Bolt. hahahah....bt cool. 9.69s. World FaStest Man. And he could have smash that record if he didnt celebrate that last 10ish meter. Feijie would be close to having that tag. To be exact by 1. Not 1 sec but 1 letter. World FaTtest Man. Ok Lame.

And i sort of like Guo Jingjing. Tink shes pretty. And hot 2. lol.

Moving away from the Olympics, i was pretty disappointed last fri as i failed to achieved something even though i tried. Sometimes im nt sure if trying is better. Theres a saying...'at least you try'. Sometimes its more painful when you try and yet failed. At least if you didnt try, it wont hurt that much. Hmmm...dunno what im toking about.

Ive gt 3 options. Dunno what i shld choose. One wrong step would have repurcussion. Damn.

Hmm...haben blog in a while...skool is starting in like a few days time. I so dread to go back skool. Whenevr i get used to something, i dont want to leave it and venture new teritories. I dun like the feeling of stepping out of my comfort zone. Ironically, i felt the same way when skool holz juz started. Guess ill just need time to adapt. But this sem would be totally sian w/o Paul. Haiz. And even before skool starts, there is project meeting already. I hate projects. Damn, this time i really dun feel like goin back school.

Just finish an old korean drama called 'All in'. Its like very nice. Its seems like the older dramas are nicer than the new ones. Of course theres Song Hye Gyo inside. Though shes a bit irritating inside, crying and crying unlike her cute and cheerful persona in full house. I guess drama really play a big part in my life. Like how i subconsciously do wad i learn from the drama.Hehehe.Like how the lead tries to win the lead actress heart. After watching 'all in' i really feel like fighting and to some extent gambling, coz the main lead can gamble and fights well. Of course im adult enough to know wads wrong.

Ive only started to watch Prison Break during its season 3 which just finish airing on ch 5 last week. Watched like the last 6-8 epi of season 3on tv. And its like damn nice. Nvr watch season 1-2 tho. Its like every monday ill sit on the tilam in the room, heart beating fast when they try to escape from Sona. And theres this girl call Sofia who is Whistler's gf. I think shes very pretty. Heres a clip bout Sofia and Lincoln. I like lincoln too. Tink hes more cool than Scoffield.
Watch out for the part 3:15. I still remember Lincoln telling Sofia, 'If he cant take you to Paris, i will'.The smile on Sofia face priceless. Dats like so romantic....hint hint to sergi. hahahah.

Haben blog in a while. Busy with work. Time really flies. This is my last week of work, i think. I still remember complaining how hard the job is at the begining. But things got better i and manage to make quite a lot of friends. The temp staff always go for 'bonding session' every saturday after work. And tomorrow theres a ktv session though im nt sure if im goin coz still sick.

Yeah, im feeling under the weather. Nt say terribly sick but bad sore throat, runny nose and feel weak.It hurts when i swallow my saliva. Nose was like a tap. I had plan to work every single day this week and maybe even do OT so as to squeeze as much money from ICA before i leave. So quite disappointed that i had to take MC today.Went to see doc to get MC. Actually mc isnt that impt lah, since its my last week of work and im a temp staff. Wanted to rest and get medicine as well. Its been a long time since i see a doctor. Usually just self medicate and buy medicine over the counter. And i was damn shocked that the medical fee was 50 bucks. Including a 5 dollar cream that i usually buy for my skin. But 45 bucks for seeing doc+ medicine is ex!! Last time it used to be 20 plus. Inflation is really bad. Went to eat yong tau foo after that. Even the yong tau foo price increased. From 40 cents a piece to 50 cents. Felt bad as nt only did i spent 50 bucks on doctor but lose 50 plus bucks as i didnt go work today.But as important as money is, i realise health is even more impt. Can always earn back the money some other time. It sucks to be sick. Feel weak. Juz suck.

But feeling much better as im typing this post.Should be able to go work tom. And maybe join them for karaoke. Just as i miss skool when holz just started, im gonna miss ICA too. The temp staffs, 34, 2n fav....and all the rest.

Time to put some words into my posts. Results are out!For 2 consecutive semesters, ive been checking results using sms service. I wasnt so nervous as i gave it my best last sem. Although my results isnt that good, its the best of the 4 sems....and i manage to pull up my cap for the first time :) Although i felt i deserve slightly better. But its ok....i can see the quadratic curve. If im taking Korean next sem, im sure the first A is coming.

Its been 3 weeks since i work at ICA. Work is still quite tough. Somedays i can really feel a sharp pain down my back. But dont really have that much OT recently and got to know more ppl. Every saturday we will have 'bonding session' amongst the temp staff. Got to know them better. Now im known as the guy who can speak mandarin.

The counter ladies can also be fun to tok cock with when the going gets tough. Me and Yong likes to tag them as our 1st, 2nd and so on....favourites. I always talk to one lady about Gucci, LV and Coach bag.We call her 26 as she sits at counter 26. And we even played the capital game which is quite fun. As in i'll give her the name of a country and she'll have to guess the capital.Shes quite good considering that the rest of the temp staff dunno anything. But of course Sergi is the best knowing the whole world capital. In fact that day i felt stupid playing with him. But morale was lifted again playing with my colleagues.Im quite good actually.Just uncomparable to Wiki Chong. However 26 says my Malay is weird and compares it with his 3 year old son speaking:(

Went to watch Singapore match on Monday with Sergi, Qy and Jeremy. Although Singapore lost 7-3, i personally dont think they play that badly. Passing has improved. No more long balls. Though their defence was suspect and Lionel Lewis was uncharacteristically dodgy.Its just that the Uzbeks were too good. Reality sinks in. Singapore is just not good enough to qualify this time around.I think...

Just started work at ICA. Was expecting a slack job but it turn out to be super hectic and tiring. First day of work had to work till 740pm. And my normal working hours are frm 8 to 545pm. Thats without OT. Have to work on Saturdays too. Although Sat is a half day and suppose to end at 1pm, i was told that Saturday is the busiest and may even stretch to 4 pm. Thats like mad.
Work is oso tiring. Its like playing dog and bone. U stand at the center waiting for the counter to ring, and u have to rush there with the passport. The worse is when counter 18 rings after counter 39.....u have to rush from one end to the other end.

Looking on the bright side, some of the counter ladies are pretty. 2 of them actually. lol....so everytime i hope their counter will ring. Also saw familiar faces. Yest saw that cock guy frm my school. Today, mr Inverter was there. Lucky paul wasnt around or he'll say stoopid things. And even Gurmit Singh make his passport.

One aunty and one lady say i look like Shah Rukh Khan. I dun tink so...bt i take dat as a compliment.

Damn, i miss invigilation.

Just came back from sergi house. Man U are champions. Chelskunk drew to Bolton...how sad!

Cldnt get to sleep. Was lying on my tilam listening to the radio when i heard that key sound.....the sound i miss so much. The sound i havent heard for years. But upon hearing it again, its just not the same. It never will be.

Im starting to miss skool. Lucky im doin invigilation at Expo. Keep my time filled. Theres like an emptiness in me without school. Yest when i went to MAC,saw sum ppl mugging. Wish i had sumthing to mug. Am i mad or what? Gotta find a job soon to feed myself and hopefully go on a well deserved holidy before next sem starts. Plan to rest 1-2 weeks first though im starting to feel restless already.Am reading a book. Quite interesting. And just started to watch a korean drama.

Results will be out on 30th. Really hope for good results.

Exams underway. Im left with only 2 papers. But library is so dead now. Without flower,im suffocating due to lack of oxygen. Without a battery, i cant operate.

Man Utd has just qualified for UCL final by beating Barcelona 1-0 at Old Trafford.I feel so guilty coz i miss that match. What a goal from Paul Scholes. He deserves that. For him, to book Man Utd ticket to the final after missing that 1999 final...its just fate. And its 50 years after the Munich air disaster. Its been a long wait for man u fans. 9 years since that victory in Nou Camp. All the defeats after that were just too much to bear. Losing to Real Madrid. Fat Ronaldo scored hat trick if i remember correctly. Losing twice to AC Milan. 1st one with that memorable goal by Crespo. Hang in the air and head. the 2nd one we were handed a footballing lesson by Kaka and co. And who can forget when Benni Mccaarthy freekick was parried away. Costinha scored from the rebound and Jose Mourinho celebrating on the touchline. That fucking hurts i tell ya. But finally, we are there. Though i must say i was looking forward to a man u vs pool final. That would be crazy shit. Alas Chelski won and Roman can visit his hometown soon hopefully to see his troops collecting runner up medals. I can still remember vividly 9 years back. Looking at videos of Sheringham equaliser and Solkjear winner still send chills down my spine. Hopefully we can have another nail biting match in the final. That kind of heart wrenching, nail biting feeling that only soccer can give you.

Haben been blogging in a while...the exam period is here again. Minus the stress level...(which is reaching yielding point), the exam period can be quite fun. No one day pass without events happening in the school library. As usual level 6 is like my new home. Familiar faces around....oso new ones. Everyday (sat inclusive) me and my buddy will juz park there and totally bury our heads in notes. Ok, nt really....eyes do wander. And not forgetting playing our favourite game in the library. One that requires more brain than chess, more finese than carrom and more balls than ball games.

Shit happens. Like in perkpoint.We better stop all the nonsense or we'll be public enemy no 1.

The CeNtral Library is such a nice place to be in. The aircons good. Muggers unite.Handsome guys flock at the 6th lvl. Not so handsome at 5th floor. LOL.
Even the librarian are nice. Like Miss 'Kinky Specs' and Miss 'Sophisticated'.

1 paper down..only 4 left. Not sure if im lookin forward to the holidays.

I just had a haircut. Guess where? At a korean hair salon. Theres this korean hair salon in tampines...its those normal neighbourhod one. Decided to try getting my haircut there. There were two male hairdresser when i enter the salon. One was playing sudoku while the other was sleeping.I asked the price first before deciding whether to cut my hair there. 15 dollars quite expensive..usually i have my haircut at those 10 dollars express cut. But nontherless, i decided to try. It turn out quite well. My hair looks quite nice actually after the cut. I talked to the 2 hairdresser after the cut. Talked a bit in korean..haha...but after stepping out of the salon..i really felt Korean.I wanted to ask the 2 hairdresser if they had any sister...but i stop short at saying goodbye to them in korean.

And i just bought this Korean Football Federation polo tee at Sportslink. Quite a bargain at 20 bucks considering its Nike and the original price was 40 plus.

And i managed to befriend 6 korean gals in skool.Im not boasting btw...my skills can nvr match that of my good friend.

Just need to talk to this pretty korean girl in the school library.Then mission accomplished!!!

And today while at SSC at YIH in school, i was browsing the magazines there and it was Koreana....a magazine on Korean arts and culture.

I wanted to watch 'Leap Years' yesterday. Im quite a avid supporter of local production. And i quite like the tune everytime they play the trailer on tv. Ended school early at 1pm. But no one wants to watch. Fong had project and Paul had tuition. So decided to stay in school for a while to study with Azhar. Ended up talking to him about korean drama and songs. But i still felt like goin to watch movie or walk around in town. Maybe feel a bit sian of school. So went to find good old sergi at SMU at nite. Plan to go Carrefour but ended up going Cathay. Initially i wanted to watch Leap Years but while queing up for the tix, i saw the korean movie 'Secret Sunshine'. I just read about it in the newspaper that morning. The movie had scooped 3 awards at the Asian Film Festival. Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress. And the actress was chio in the papers.Although we have no clue at all what the storyline would be like. So it was a decision between leap years or secret sunshine. In the end we watched Secret Sunshine.

Secret Sunshine is not the typical Korean drama. Its those abstract, arthouse kind of film. The storyline is quite interesting though its a bit slow at times, typical of this genre.And everytime they speak a word i know, i feel so happy. Lol.
The story is about a woman(Jeon Do Yeon) who is a single mum. In the begining of the show, she and her son move to Miryang (which means secret sunshine in chinese). Miryang is the birthplace of her late husband. Unfortunately her son got kidnapped and murdered by the school bus driver. From then on, the whole show revolves around her....how she cant cope with the death of her son,how her whole life turn upside down, how she seduced the pharmacist husband(lucky bastard). The movie also potrays a lot about Christianity. The ending was a bit abrupt but certain parts of the show are nice. Like how the guy who like the actress stayed with her through thick and thin...and even when she got mad.The part where she seduces the pharmacist is quite funny. Coz the pharmacist is a religious person. Then when they were 'doing it', the pharmacist stops halfway as he feels guilty. His reason.....'he feels stress..maybe god is watching. lol!!! But that incident set me thinking.Wen im married already, will i succumb to temptation if a girl throw herself at me.....a korean one mind you. I was thinking of this the whole night. And i still dare not say definitely ' I wont'. It makes me feel guilty. Does this makes me a bad person? I pray God wont ever test me this way.

I definitely enjoy the show. The performance of the actress(Jeon Do Yeon) is indeed worthy of Best Actress. In fact she also won at Cannes in 2007 for her role in Secret Sunshine. Heres the trailer......

This friday (14 Mar) is White Day. This day originates from Japan but is widely celebrated in Korea and Taiwan as well. Coz in Korea, during V dae, girls will buy for guys chocs. Well, you can give to your lovers, but you can also give to your family, friends, etc...juz like how its celebrated in Singapore except the girls give while the guys take. So, there is a day exactly one month later.....ie..14 Mar,
which is call 'White Day'. On this day, the guys would buy for the gals stuff, mainly candies. I got to know about it in one of the Korean Drama ive watched..lol.
And theres also 'Black Day'(14 Apr) celebrated exactly one month after White Day . This day is when singles come together to 'celebrate' their singlehood. Its call 'black day', as they tend to eat white korean noodle with BLACK sauce......hence the name. Interesting ritez!!!!!!!

Was watching a Siti Nurhaliza programme on RTM 1 with my mum. No doubt, Siti Nurhaliza has grown slightly 'bigger' after her marriage. But her voice is still as powerful, sweet and melodic as ever. She'll always be a diva...a nice one dat is.
Suddenly, i realised that we havent been to Johor for quite a while now. Johor is like our 2nd home.Btw WE=Durian brothers, Sergi, Lam brothers,etc....... I kinda miss that feeling. As what Kee Sian said, when are in Johor, all the troubles seems to go away. No stress, juz shopping, eating and more eating.

Everyone is talking about Mas Selamat. Recently i was reading the forum on 'TODAY', where one of the readers suggested that the government offer a big sum of money to whoever who has information about him. I totally support this idea. Even if there was no money given, ill still report to the police if i were to see him. But if the police really offered a big sum of money, i may consider skipping school for the next few days to try and hunt Mas Selamat down. Ironically, 'Selamat' in Malay means safe.......

School starts tomorow. Although i went to school every single weekday of the mid term break, im dreading to go school tomorow. Having to go lecture and worst still my stoopid EG1473 class. The only thing im looking forward to is tomorow night when i can watch 10 pm drama.Sometimes watching HK drama really makes you wanna throw the remote at the TV screen due to some evil character.
