Watching korean dramas is like having a relationship. At first, you start to know each other better. You will notice the good and bad points of the drama. Its not so interesting but its a learning experience. You will then decide whether to continue with the relationship and bring it to a more intimate level..... or to just end it. In the middle, you will get used to the drama. You will love it so much that you will spend hours together everyday. And when you're not watching, the drama will still be on your mind. However, soon the drama will have sad events and twists and turns. The relationship will be in turmoil. At times, you will break down and cry. You will try to save the relationship but it ends when the drama ends. Thats when you will suffer from post breakup syndrome. You know its over but u cant flush it out of your system. You will smile to yourself when you think of the good times. You will find and search for reminiscence of your love (OST, wallpaper,posters......). This will last up to as long as 2-4 weeks. Thats when you realize its time to move on. You will then search for that speacial someone all over again..(new drama).
So far, ive had about 8 relationships (dramas). Thats a far cry compared to hundreds that von has watched.
Today, i saw a korean family at NTUC.Quite surprised. There are koreans in my neighbourhood.Coolz!!! They were conversing in korean. I wanted to talk to them in korean too...lol. I wanted ask them if they were korean and tell them that i love korean drama. But i was kinda shy and not too confident of whatever little K language i know. But come to think of it, if it was a chio Korean gal, maybe Song Hye Gyo, i would have muster more courage and confidence to approach her. She will be impressed by my Korean language.
Korean workshop....here i come!!!!
